Blue Gold Cleaning Solution is most commonly used in cleaning and degreasing metal and been shown to effectively outperform many other metal cleaning chemicals in the removal of preservative oils, light unpigmented drawing compounds, milling oils and light mill scale from parts. With our metal cleaning solution, no rinsing is required making it practical and economical because a single stage wash system can be used.

Aviations largest aircraft engine manufactures such as Pratt & Whitney, GE Engines, Allison Engines and Rolls Royce have performed their own testing and have approved Blue Gold as a metal cleaner and have listed it with their approved metal cleaning chemicals. Blue Gold Metal Cleaning Solution has been tested safe for both non-ferrous and ferrous metals. It has been extensively tested for metal cleaning safety in accordance with ARP 1755A, ARP1795A, AMS 1536, ASTM F482, AMS 4037 & AMS 4911. Testing results showed our metal cleaning solution to be non-toxic and non-corrosive on non-ferrous and ferrous metals.

Performance tests completed in accordance with ARP 1755A showed Blue Gold Meta Cleaning Solution to be safe for reducing the need for separate metal cleaning chemicals.

Blue Gold has also been tested as a metal cleaning immersion solution in accordance with ASTM F482, ASTM F495, and ARP 1755A requirements for non-ferrous, and ferrous metal cleaning. These tests and other independent testing show Blue Gold?s results as a metal cleaning solution to be significantly more effective than other metal cleaning chemicals, caustics or powders on non-ferrous and ferrous metals.

This cleaning solution does not react with oils that have been removed during the non-ferrous and ferrous metal cleaning process and there is no sludge build-up. When the agitation system is off, oils rise to surface and can be easily removed. If the heat can also be removed, it will expedite the rising of the oils to the top of the solution for removal. Monitoring the pH and periodically refreshing the metal cleaning solution will facilitate optimum performance and bath life.
